As I write this note, we are just a few weeks away from our 13th Annual Enterprising Women of the Year Awards Celebration & Conference. Our annual awards issue—profi ling each of the honorees—will be out in June, but I can tell you that I have never seen such an incredible group of honorees.

When we started this program 13 years ago, our top revenue level for submitting a nomination was for businesses with over $10 million in annual revenues, and I remember calling my friend and mentor, Marsha Firestone (founder and president of the Women Presidents' Organization) to ask for her help recruiting "larger" businesses to apply for the award.
