Global Entrepreneurship Summit - India 2017

Shaila Rao Mistry has been invited by the US State Department to represent the United States as an official delegate to the 2017 Global Entrepreneurship Summit. GES 2017 will be held at the Hyderabad Convention Centre in Hyderabad, India and participation is by invitation only.

This year’s GES highlights women business owners, and Shaila is passionate about prominent issues that affect women from issues of trafficking to women on boards. She has spoken globally on five continents at many venues of note and has received many awards and recognitions.

In partnership with the Government of the United States of America, NITI Aayog is proud to host the eighth GES. The Summit will be addressed by The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The US delegation will be led by Ivanka Trump, Advisor to President Trump.

Since 2010, GES has travelled from Washington D.C. to Istanbul, Dubai, Marrakech, Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur, Silicon Valley, and 2017 in Hyderabad. GES 2017 is indeed an assembly of notable entrepreneurs, investors, educators, government officials, and business representatives who represent the full measure of entrepreneurial talent from diverse backgrounds across our nation and the world.
