JenniferKearney Kearney is the executive partner of Gotham Energy 360, a full-service energy consulting and management firm and she holds major interest in the firm. As executive partner, she oversees day-to-day operations of the firm including all new business development. Before launching Gotham Energy 360, she parlayed her position as the Director of Energy Programs for New York Presbyterian into a consultancy offering energy program development and deployment to hospitals, universities, colleges and cultural centers. As the Director of Energy Programs, she managed an over $70 million energy procurement portfolio including natural gas, power and all distillate fuel oils. In addition, she was responsible for the development and construction of a 7.5 megawatt gas turbine combined heat and power system, which was the first of its kind to connect with ConEdison’s Manhattan grid and run in synchronous parallel. The result of her efforts saved an excess of $11 million annually and has gained her the EPA recognition of ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year in the “Sustained Excellence” category. Furthermore, Kearney’s accomplishments with the hospital included involvement in the development of two LEED-rated buildings, one that certified as Gold—a distinction only six health care buildings hold in the country. In addition to authoring several articles published in national energy journals, Kearney frequently speaks at energy conferences. She recently presented her white paper on progressive purchasing strategies to support cogeneration development to the SUNY Maritime Global Research Center. Kearney remains active in The Association of Energy Engineers, as a New York chapter member, and she is a member of the New York Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners.
