Brittany has achieved 3 degrees in various fields of chemistry, most recently her PhD, and she will be moving to Boston in January to start a post-doctoral fellowship to continue her research in carbohydrates. She has also been involved with 3 different STEM outreach programs on a volunteer basis.

Laura graduated from Queen’s University with a BScE in Civil Engineering. Since graduation, she has been working in the Telecommunication Infrastructure industry throughout North America.

As an astronomy professor at the University of Toronto, Renee has been fully engaged in STEM for over ten years. She is passionate about communicating science to the public, especially challenging the idea of stereotyping what Scientists ‘normally’ look like.
At Microsoft, Corinne Sharp built, led and nurtured one of the largest partner ecosystems within IT. Globally, this tech veteran has trained hundreds of sales leaders and marketing executives in growth planning. Now, President of Sharp Perspectives, she continues to be passionate about well-executed strategy for start-ups. Her advisory work on boards and incubators allows Corinne to give back to new companies and young women looking to build the foundations for an amazing business venture.

Nancy Watt is a sought after speaker, writer and improviser. A graduate of Second City’s Improv Conservatory and Sketch Writing Programs, this consummate professional delivers dynamic workshops on communications and creativity in unconventional environments. A recent colloquium at University of Toronto Physics department described her talk as "easily one of the most dynamic and effective colloquia we have ever given". Rated in the top five of the Leadership Workshops at the International Microsoft World Partner Conference and a regular at Huffington Post's team building events, Nancy delivers powerfully creative and memorable sessions. She delivers her energy, talent and humour to the corporate, education and healthcare sectors. Her improv work is referenced in academic papers for pedagogical experiential learning.
Nancy's passion is about connecting through effective communication. She holds a special place in her heart for girls wanting to enter STEM careers and as such, is delighted to be speaking at Enterprising Women's event. Nancy has taught improv and communication to physicists, engineers, mathematicians and technologists. She delights in watching them discover creativity and a new way of learning.
A community minded advocate, she chairs School Parent Councils and is a member of St. Joseph's Healthcare Quality Council.
Nancy lives in Dundas, Ontario with her husband Michael, two teenage boys Eric and Scott and their loyal dog Tuck.
