ENTERPRISING WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARD WINNERS Winners with Over $1 Million in Annual Revenues Judy Klein inKlein Consulting, LLC, Newtown, PA Judy Klein is president of inKlein Consulting, an agency supporting healthcare organizations by providing marketing, strategy, market research and project management. She started inKlein in 2006 with a passion for making a difference in people’s lives. That same passion translates to her desire to increase awareness about preventive healthcare and the potential vaccines have to prevent disease and save lives. To that end, in 2014, she co-founded Unity Consortium and serves as Unity’s President. This consortium unites public and private entities, not-for-profits, and government agencies to share expertise and collaborate in key projects aligned with Unity’s mission. Her work led to an invitation to serve on the Steering Committee of the National HPV Roundtable, an organization led by the American Cancer Society and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. She also serves the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA)in leadership positions on the Global and Philadelphia Chapter Board of Directors including President of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter, and Chair of the Council of Chapter Presidents. Most recently, Judy has served for the past several years on Greater Philadelphia chapter’s Advisory and Nomination committees. Michelle DeClerck Conference Event Management, Des Moines, IA Michelle DeClerck is president of Conference Event Management, founded in 2003, and provider of custom event, conference, gala, incentive travel and meeting experiences. Michelle is also the founder of Mentor Tank, which provides mentoring opportunities for women looking to jump-start their careers in the events and hospitality industry, and the Iowa Hospitality Donation Network, which connects hotels and event venues with solutions to donate leftover items to the hungry and homeless of Central Iowa. She’s received a number of awards and recognitions, including the SBA Woman in Business Champion of the Year, Smart Meetings Top Influential Woman – Innovator of the Year, and the Inspiring Woman of Iowa Character Award, among others. Michelle serves as Secretary of the National Association of Women Business Owners, and is involved with Iowa Women Lead Change, Iowa Million Women Mentors, and the Iowa Epic Corporate Challenge. She is also a contributing writer for the Business Record on growing your business topics through Lift Iowa, and founded Mentor Tank and Iowa Hospitality Donation Network. Joi Beasley GOGO Business Communications, Inc., Houston, TX Joi Beasley is president and CEO of GOGO Business Communications, a solution provider for printing/copying, branding and marketing related services. Joi recently added Director of the Women’s Business Enterprise Alliance-Houston’s Women Business Center to her career challenge as well. At the same time, she enjoys taking leadership roles that support and elevate the community. She is the vice chair for the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce, served on the board of directors for Alzheimer’s Association, and CSTEM Student Support Services, and is a past advisory board member for Houston Black MBAs. A Fellow of the American Leadership Forum, Beasley was also awarded as a Distinguished Alumni by the Houston Fisk Alumni Association. She was recognized for her Business Leadership and Community Service by ROADWomen. Joi serves as a mentor with World Youth Foundation. She is a founding member of Women in Business, a networking program with the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce.
