Giselle Bonzi is an award-winning business executive, entrepreneur, and investor. As part of the leadership team at Washington Capital Partners (WCP), she led the company’s strategic initiatives for its growth from $96MM to $372MM annually in three years, increasing real estate loan transaction revenue margins by 529% in only two years. From inception, the company has achieved over $1 billion in real estate loan originations which makes the company, one of the largest private lenders on the East Coast. The company has been recognized and awarded numerous accolades by The Financial Times, Washington Business Journal, Inc. Magazine, Profiles in Diversity, among others. For her work at WCP, Giselle has been recognized as an Elite Women in Mortgage by the Mortgage Professional Association; while at the Women Presidents Organization, she earned the Women To Watch 2021 (#11) distinction. Prior to WCP, Giselle started three small businesses domestically and internationally, and sold all three by the age of 35. She actively invests in seed stage companies and is always looking to support disruptive ventures. Giselle speaks six languages and has worked in short-term assignments in several countries throughout her career.
Giselle strongly believes in paying it forward and she volunteers her time mentoring women and supporting several philanthropic causes – including those at The WCP Foundation, where she serves as the Chairwoman and Co-Founder.
Giselle holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Master of Public Health in Urban Health and Management from Northeastern University. She also earned a Master of Business Administration with concentration in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is proud to be part of the Owner/President Management (OPM) program network at Harvard Busines School - Executive Education.
Giselle is married to Daniel Huertas, and they have two sons. In her free time, she enjoys spending with her family and friends, watching formula 1, playing tennis, and doing yoga. She is an avid traveler and has been to 133 countries – she can’t wait to take her children to all her favorite destinations.
