Enterprising Women Names Elin Barton, Neelima Parasker and Jolene Risch to its Advisory Board

RALEIGH, N.C., March 17 – Monica Smiley, CEO and publisher of Enterprising Women magazine, has appointed Elin Barton, Neelima Parasker and Jolene Risch to the Enterprising Women Advisory Board.

Elin Barton is Founder and President of White Knight Productions, an award-winning team of videographers, animators and audio producers. White Knight is known for amplifying their clients’ message and for achieving measurable results. Barton works with a wide range of professionals in industries such as higher education, tech, energy, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, tourism, economic development, hospitality, retail, nonprofits and more.

Barton is also the founder of The Boardroom, an online community that connects entrepreneurs from across the country and provides them with community support, networking and collaboration opportunities and a substantial library of resources that’s tailored to help small and mid-sized business owners. Barton is a 2020 Enterprising Women of the Year Award Champion.

A graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program and a leader in the entrepreneurial world, Barton is also a passionate community-builder and advocate for small business. Neelima Parasker is the Owner, President and Chief Executive Officer of SnapIT Solutions™ LLC, an innovative technology trainings, services and solutions company with a mission to unleash our collective human potential to deliver innovative world-class technology trainings and solutions. SnapIT has capabilities in IT Managed Services, Data Analytics, IT Security, Cloud, DevOps and has the technical expertise in disruptive technologies such as AI, ML, IoT and AR/VR. Parasker founded SnapIT Solutions in 2015 with a mission to empower communities and create opportunities for the underrepresented population in technology and engineering.

Parasker is a Board Member of KansasWorks State Workforce Board, a review board and change agent empowered with the responsibility of making recommendations to the Governor and to state agencies to align workforce development with the state’s economic development needs. She additionally serves on the Community Development Advisory Council at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, is an official Tech Council member of Forbes, KC Tech Council, Industry Partner, and Board Member of Enterprise Bank and Trust and the Linwood YMCA. She was an inaugural Innovator in Residence with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

Parasker is the recipient of numerous awards, including being honored as a 2020 Enterprising Women of the Year Award Winner; ‘Most Inspirational Women in Tech’ by Insights Success in 2019, Women’s Business Development Center ‘Rising Star Award’ 2019, Kansas City Business Journal for ‘Women Who Mean Business’ in 2018 and ‘Kansas City’s NextGen Leader Award’ in 2017, ‘Technology All Star’ National Award’ in STEM from Career Communications Group, Inc. and WOC Magazine for her contributions to STEM fields in 2015. Jolene Risch uses her 25 years of experience in Human Resources to lead a national recruiting firm that specializes in the identification and placement of exceptional talent for growing, dynamic and diverse teams.

RISCH RESULTS, A WBENC-Certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), uses a unique approach to recruit and place outstanding individuals into positions in accounting, finance, sales, marketing, human resources, and operations. Recent clients include companies in construction, manufacturing, technology, service, healthcare, and non-profit, who frequently look to Risch Results to recruit for multiple positions.

A Graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Intensive Program and the Kellogg Non-Profit Board Member Institute, Risch also serves her profession and her community on the Dream Team Professional Women’s Network (Founder and Immediate Past President), Executive Search Owners Association (membership chair) and Communities Foundation of Texas for Business. She is an active board member of the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, the Dallas Hebrew Free Loan Association, and currently mentors women and serves on the development committee of WINGS Dallas. Risch is a 2020 Enterprising Women of the Year Award Winner.
