Enterprising Women Names Wendy Coulter, Jennie McNeill Campbell and Jill Vitiello to its Advisory Board

RALEIGH, N.C., July 1 – Monica Smiley, CEO and publisher of Enterprising Women magazine, has appointed Wendy Coulter, Jennie McNeill Campbell and Jill Vitiello to the Enterprising Women Advisory Board. All three have built multidimensional award-winning businesses, are sought-after thought leaders in their fields, and are active contributors to the advancement of professionalism. As such, they embody the leadership values of Enterprising Women and its network of successful women business owners across North America and globally.

Wendy Coulter, President of Hummingbird Creative Group in Cary, N.C., a full-service agency that builds businesses through better branding. This includes defining brand strategy, developing sustainable brand messaging and implementing marketing tactics through effective advertising, graphic design, sales enablement, public relations and online marketing services. Coulter enables businesses to more effectively communicate the positioning of their business, differentiate their brand and grow revenue.

Coulter opened the company in 1995, and since then she and the team at Hummingbird have won numerous design awards including Davey Awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016, 2019; Marcom awards in 2014 and 2019; three Healthcare Advertising Awards in 2018; a MOMBA award in 2014; two Mature Media Awards in 2013, and an RBMA Quest Award in 2010, to mention only those in the last decade.

Coulter is a winner of the 2020 Enterprising Women of the Year Award. She is a graduate of Leadership Cary in 2016-2017, and was named the NAWBO-Greater Raleigh Woman Business Owner of the year in 2015-2016, and a Top 50 Entrepreneur by Business Leader Magazine in 2010, to name just a few. The company was also honored with the NAWBO-Greater Raleigh Corporate Sponsor of the Year Award in 2013-2014, among its most recent awards.

Coulter founded the NC Women Business Owners Hall of Fame in 2018 and serves as Chair. She currently serves as Past-President of NAWBO-Greater Raleigh, and she serves on the board as a past-president of North Carolina Executive Roundtable. She serves on Boards of the Defense Alliance of NC, Marbles Kids Museum, the Cary Chamber of Commerce and Second Saturday of Wake County.

Jennie McNeill Campbell, CMP, CMM, PMP, is CEO/President of Stewart Steelwood Investments, LLC dba “The Stewart Lodges”. She has also founded and owned other companies to include Jennie McNeill Enterprises, LLC (Meeting Planning Company) and Meet Your Market, LLC (An Innovative Marketing Company).

With over 30 years of professional marketing, public relations, event planning, project management and portfolio management experience supporting widely diversified industries and organizations, Campbell has over an illustrious career given back to multiple business organizations, personal causes and mentoring.

Campbell is a 2020 Enterprising Woman of the Year Champion, in addition to serving on the Advisory Board.

Her companies have been the recipient of Meeting Professionals International awards to include the Tomorrow’s Leader Award and the MPI President Award, the MS Leadership Award, Genuity’s Vice President’s Above and Beyond Award, YWCA Role Model of the Year, Leading Women in Business Award, Business Alabama Movers and Shakers and Strathmore’s Who’s Who Lifetime Achievement Award. Her company has been a Vistage International Lifetime Achievement Award Finalist, a Mobile Chamber of Commerce Small Business Finalist 2019 and The Business Council of Alabama Small Business of the Year Alabama State Finalist, to name a few.

She speaks at business organizations, civic organizations and leadership programs, on topics such as “The Perfect Storm: Dealing with Life’s Adversities and Always Coming out on Top!” and most recently recognized for her article and speaking presentation: “Changes, Challenges, Choices: What is your next Move?” concerning the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic published in the Enterprising Women Blog, The Connector, and several CEO Publications.

Campbell is a member and has served on numerous executive boards, boards and committees such as World Trade Center of New Orleans, Junior Achievement, Meeting Professional International, Project Management Institute, Better Business Bureau, Rotary: a member of Vistage, Chief Executive and Goldman Sachs 10KSB National Cohort 9 Program, among many others. She has recently served on the Eastern Shore Board and Executive Board, BCEDA Board and Executive Board, SBCOC Board and Executive Board, Mobile Chamber Board of Directors, Mobile Chamber Executive Board, Mobile Chamber Vice Chair of Membership, Mobile Chamber of Commerce Chamber Chase Chair 2019, and Mobile Chamber of Commerce Vice Chair of Small Business, Renasant Bank Alabama Board of Advisors, Quality Filters, Board of Advisors and the Gold Coast Angel Investors Board of Advisors.

Jill Vitiello is Chief Executive Officer of Vitiello Communications Group (VTLO), a communications agency focused on the employee experience.
