Joan Killian GallagherJoan Killian Gallagher is the founder and president of Warden Brooks New York. Since 1978, her visionary leadership in the field of custom designed corporate gifts established Warden Brooks as the preferred manufacturer of branded merchandise. Made in America, the distinctive line of canvas bags with woven ribbon trim includes totes, briefcases, and the, often imitated but never duplicated, original Wall Street banker bag.

In 1998, while successfully running Warden Brooks and raising her daughter, Joan followed one of her many dreams and began the restoration of the original cottages on the farm where her great grandfather, Laurence Killian, was born in 1833. Fifteen years, three cottages and a true labor of love later, The Killian Homeplace received the All Ireland Pride of Place Award. The 60-acre compound has been reimagined as a meeting place that fosters the educational and cultural exchange for students, relatives and friends from all over the world.

In 2017, Joan’s daughter, Caroline, joined the Warden Brooks team and has brought a new dimension of design and marketing innovation to the company. Joan is the proud recipient of the Enterprising Woman of the Year award and continues to enjoy being a long time member of the EW Advisory Board and the Women Presidents’ Organization.
