NASHVILLE, TENN. – February 9, 2021 – Local public relations agency, Julie Lilliston Communications, has been selected to participate in the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. The boutique communications firm is one of 87 companies accepted into National Cohort 15 that is administered online by Babson College. 10,000 Small Businesses is a rigorous 12-week program focusing on every aspect of business development including operations, HR, sales and marketing.

The Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses is a scholarship program to help entrepreneurs create jobs and economic opportunity by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. To date, more than 10,000 business owners have graduated from the program across all 50 states in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.

Julie Lilliston Communications experienced 15% growth in 2020 and is planning to expand by hiring two employees this year. The agency is a nationally-certified woman-owned business by WBENC with a remote team of experts and specializes in B2B communications providing corporate communications, reputation management, thought leadership and public education and engagement campaigns. The firm has supported clients across the Southeast including DevMar Products, PALCO, Personalized Payroll Services, Inc., Dimeta Smith CPA, WBEC South, Caregivers by WholeCare, Dismas House of Nashville and Nashville Business Incubation Center.

Julie is a recipient of the 2020 Women of Influence award by the Nashville Business Journal and a 2020 ATHENA Award nominee. She serves on the board of directors for NAWBO Nashville and is a graduate of the Leadership Connect program by the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and co-chairs their GrowingTogether initiative for women in business. She is a member of the WBE Forum for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council and the women’s business collaborative BrainTrust.
