Mertz, Martha

MARTHA MERTZMartha is the founder of ATHENA International. She envisioned and established an international non-profit organization dedicated to opening leadership opportunities for women through the ATHENA Award, ATHENA PowerLink, ATHENA World Cafe, Globalinks, ATHENA Young Professional Award, ALM Leadership Program. ATHENA was founded in 1982 and Martha served as president until 1999, with permanent membership status on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Martha now serves as president/owner of Mayhood/Mertz Investments, Inc. She serves as CEO, managing a development and brokerage firm specializing in commercial and investment real estate holdings, which she has done from 1978 to present.
