Carolyn Marshall Covington opened her first In-Flight Hair Salon in Maryland and expanded into Virginia and North Carolina, opening a chain of salons. A diagnosis of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), caused Carolyn to lose her eyesight. In 2016, she founded Insightful Visionaries, a nonprofit that empowers people with disabilities.
