Robyn G. Smalletz is President/CEO and Co-Owner of Gloria Duch in, Inc. a leading design and manufacturing firm of seasonal metal ornaments, jewelry and gifts. As President, she has led the business into a design focus, pioneering a trend forecasting program and incorporating the latest trends in fashion and home decor into new holiday ornaments, keepsakes and jewelry. Because of her work, she has been featured in Woman's Day, The New York Times, XM Satellite Radio, and QVC Home Shopping Network and ION TV.
The company's products are retailed at national and regional mass merchants as well as drug chains, home centers, catalog retailers, specialty stores, and e-commerce sites. Gloria Duchin, Inc. has over a 100 million copyrighted ornaments in circulation, and designs custom and licensed programs.
Under Robyn's direction, the product line expansion includes new jewelry collections created for the Smithsonian Museum Stores and several of the largest retailers' worldwide, ecommerce divisions. As a result, Robyn and her team were asked to co-design a custom necklace for Fatigues to Fabulous, a non- profit honoring female veterans. The design was modeled by many of the women at the Spring New York Fashion Week several years ago. The company has designed jewelry for numerous celebrities and worked with Ellen Degeneres in collaboration with Halo Pet Food Company on a licensed jewelry, pet tag and accessories program for the Adopt-a-Pet US Postal stamps.
In 2015, she was the recipient of the Business Women Industry Leadership Award in Technology and Manufacturing from the Providence Business News.
Prior to accepting the position at Gloria Duchin, Inc., Robyn held executive marketing positions in the financial service industry in New York City and the greater metropolitan area.
She has long been involved in the seasonal products industry having served as a board member of NOEL in New York City, a group of Christmas professionals collaborating to better serve the season market.
Robyn has also held numerous leadership positions on community boards throughout Rhode Island and remains actively engaged.
She is a member of the Women Presidents' Organization, Rhode Island Chapter and is a , graduate of the University of South Carolina and New York University.
