Tabellija-Murphy, Joanne

Joanne is Director of Constituent Relations and Corporate Affairs at Walmart. She is responsible for building partnerships and strategies that enhance corporate reputation and stakeholder advocacy in the Asian American Pacific Islander markets and community, the Women’s segment, Mature/Aging segment, and People with Disabilities segment.  She seeks opportunities to create new innovative relationships and partnerships that will benefit society and align with the company’s focuses. Joanne brings her expertise in connecting her network of partners to each other, helping them fulfill their mission.   She holds seats on several Corporate Advisory Boards and has help Board Chair positions for several non-profits and not-for-profits, helping them to learn how to navigate corporations when they submit requests for support. She joined Walmart on 9/30/13. 

Prior to coming to Walmart, she worked for MillerCoors and Coors Brewing Company for almost 17 years, as their National Community Commerce and Partnerships Manager, directing and managing strategy on corporate and community partnerships for MillerCoors by strengthening the commercial impact of community investments in support of business objectives leveraging and creating  programs, partnerships and initiatives to increase brand relevance, safeguard the company’s license to operate, enhance company reputation and position MillerCoors as civic leaders.  Over the several years she was with MillerCoors, she served as director and manager of multicultural relations initiatives for the Asian, Women’s, Native American communities and market segments, the lead the company’s emergency disaster relief efforts, and directed the enterprise-wide Employee Volunteer Programs.
