Ward, Deborah

Deborah (Deb) Ward is the visionary founder and CEO of Televergence Solutions and UV BIOCLEAN. At  Televergence, she leads nationwide operations and expansion into emerging markets, carrying forward a 35+  year legacy of integrity, transparency, and unmatched customer service. Under her leadership, the  company has sustained an extraordinary customer retention rate averaging more than 15 years—evidence of the trust and loyalty she inspires.

Deb’s entrepreneurial journey began when the AT&T monopoly was dismantled. Seizing the opportunity, she became one of the first women to establish a competitive telecommunications company. In a highly regulated and male-dominated industry, she persevered through significant challenges, earning respect as a fierce competitor and innovator

Her second venture, UV BIOCLEAN, grew out of her commitment to public health and safety. Dedicated to making shared spaces safer and cleaner, the company leverages the proven efficacy of UV-C technology to reduce airborne risks in industries such as education, healthcare, fitness, corporate, senior living,  government, and the public sector. Founded during the COVID-19 pandemic and grounded in extensive market research, UV BIOCLEAN helps organizations protect people while enhancing their competitive advantage.

A lifelong advocate for women in business and technology, Deb lives by her philosophy of “Paying It  Forward.” She invests significant time, expertise, and financial resources into organizations that support women entrepreneurs, business leadership, and diversity initiatives.

Deb has served in numerous leadership roles and on influential boards, including:

  • First female Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of INCOMPAS (formerly COMPTEL), the industry’s largest lobbying association, where she successfully onboarded major members such as  Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Netflix, Meta, and Dish—generating more than $2 million in annual membership dues.
  • National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) – National Circle Member and Past  President, NAWBO Nashville.
  • Women’s Business Enterprise Council South (WBEC South) – Board Member. Forum Domestic  Team Member and Advisory Ad Hoc Committee Chairperson..

  • Enterprising Women – Advisory Board Member and Mentor.
  • National Small Business Leadership Council – Member.
